Get Loose
The shop started back in 2018. We had many many people volunteer and help build a really beautiful community. Now we are a fully functioning refill shop, serving the local community. We have a lovely team and a great customer base. A handful of amazing longstanding volunteers help with social media, finance and writing blogs.
No Container? No Problem!
We have a jar bank of free, clean, weighed and ready to use jars in case you forget, or need extra.
We can take donations but they must be clean, dry and not smell strongly! If they do not meet these criteria they will be recycled.

Pimp your porridge 🥣 we love a warm breakfast in winter.
SO many topping options to choose from (only a few are pictured here), or have them all at once 😋, breakfast will never be boring. Plus this helps you get more fibre, a wider range of plants, and micro nutrients.
In the diary milk camp? Pre order your milk to secure your purchase. In the plant m*lk camp we have oat (loose or in cartons) and almond.

If you are trying to get more fibre in your diet, we have three simple ideas to get you started.
1. Add linseeds to your breakfast.
Start with a teaspoon and work up to a tablespoon.
To get the best bioavailability your linseeds should be soaked overnight or ground. Make your breakfast the night before and just pop it in the fridge.
1.4-3g fibre
2. Daily dried fruit & nut pot.
Easy to make up, have at work, or, out and about.
Pick 3-4 dried fruits and 2 nuts.
For example; 1 fig, 2 apricots, 1 prune, 2 brazils and 4 almonds.
5g fibre
3. #BangInSomeBeans or lentils.
Adding dried, or tinned, beans / lentils to your soups, stews, salads, pasta etc, is an easy way to add more fibre.
Eg 100g of cooked lentils, pulses or beans, will give you approx 3-11g fibre depending on which ones you pick.
Remember to increase your fluid intake as you slowly increase your fibre intake. Otherwise it will be a bit of a shock to your system!
