Can I pay by card?

Yes - we accept Visa, Mastercard & Amex. We prefer card but if you only have cash we will do our best to accommodate you. We have limited change. .

Do you offer any discounts?

We’re currently offering a 10% discount for NHS staff as a thank you for your incredible work.

Do I have to bring my own containers?

We would love as many of our customers as possible to fill their own containers. We would ask you to thoroughly clean any containers you wish to use before visiting the store. At the shop, you can weigh your containers (on the scales outside) and then fill them. We will charge you only for the weight of the contents, not the container.

If you don’t have your own containers, or want to get a few more items, we provide paper bags (see details below) you can fill.

We also provide a bottle & jar bank. These are free for customers to use and already weighed by us. We are not able to accept jar and bottle donations by customers at the moment.

Are all of your products certified organic?

The majority of our food items are organic certified, or working towards certification. Any non organic exemptions are labelled as such in store.

Our cleaning and toiletries products are all natural and not tested on animals, with some being certified organic.

Please speak to staff in store if you have any questions.

Why do you have products not in reusable, or easily recyclable, packaging?

Sometimes we have to fill the shelves in order to keep the space running. This means that the odd item may be in packaging that is not ideal. It is a work in progress as we aim to be fully stocked in align with our sustainability goals.

Charges for paper bags

There is a nominal charge (5p) for paper bags if you are a regular customer and you have not brought any of your own containers.

If it is your first time, or you have brought some of your own containers (any kind) then there is no charge for paper bags.
